I'm an Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln in the Department of Plant Pathology with a joint appointment in the Center for Plant Science Innovation.
The focus of my laboratory is the study of plant-microbe interactions centering around understanding the symbiosis of mycorrhizal-plant interactions.
We have other laboratory projects in the works now researching insect-microbe interactions, bacterial diversity in plant tissues, and animal- and human-microbial interactions in the gut.
My research generally consists of environmental and laboratory studies, with a heavy reliance on computational and bioinformatic techniques.
The Lab website will be made public soon, so in the meantime read more about my interests at my blog Cyme & Cystidium.
